Clive Cowan is an established singer songwriter musician from Essex, England, whose influences include folk-rock, hard rock & classical. He has played many stages large and small, in festivals, resorts, clubs, pubs, bars, restaurants, for private functions and house parties.
His 'Classic MySpace' site achieved over 40,000 hits plus 15,000 worldwide streams of his tracks. He has repeatedly performed at the prestigious Cambridge Rock Festival and Leigh Folk Festival; opened as support to the Strawbs, Waking the Witch and Amy Wadge, etc.; and had radio broadcasts including Radio Caroline and Radio Seagull.
Now solo, he performs an eclectic mix of 1970-80s plus 'timeless favourites' covers as well as his own compositions. He creates a 'big' sound using subtle guitar effects and vocal harmonies.
He is able to provide one of two smart PA systems: a discrete state-of-the-art JBL linear-array system, or a more powerful traditional pair of powered 15-inch speakers on stands with a quality Allen & Heath mixing desk for larger venues.
